Hillsborough, North Carolina  was established in 1754 on land where the Great Indian Trading Path crossed the Eno River.  Hillsborough’s rich history is full of Native Americans and continued through the Colonial and Revolutionary Period.   The town has maintained its quaint charm for over 260 years.

Located off I-85, just north of Chapel Hill, Hillsborough is the county seat of Orange County.  Historic Downtown Hillsborough is one of the oldest areas in the Triangle.  There are over 100 homes and churches that date back to the late 18th and early 19th century.

The Eno River runs through downtown Hillsborough and provides a great opportunity for the community to enjoy the peace and beauty of one of the iconic rivers in the Piedmont of North Carolina.  Enjoy the 1.8 miles of the Riverwalk and then dine at some of the Triangle’s most unique restaurants.

Fox Hill Farm is located 3.7 miles northwest of downtown Hillsborough  and is only 12.1 miles to Duke University Medical Center and 16 miles to the campus of The University of North Carolina.

Come by and check out Fox Hill Farm and then enjoy an afternoon in Historic Hillsborough.
